Technology Master Plan

In November 2007, the Long Beach Unified School District began a comprehensive process to determine how technology can systematically enhance teaching and learning as well as support administrative functions. Over the next 18 months, this process involved a districtwide committee of approximately 150 stakeholders, including teachers, classified staff, and administrators from both the Central Office and schools. It also encompassed a needs assessment survey and a technology inventory that covered over 20,000 workstations and other equipment. The entire interactive effort led to the development of a Technology Master Plan.

This Plan outlines key goals, objectives, and processes to ensure that all students and staff members benefit from technology. It is aligned with both the 2017-2022 菠菜网lol正规平台 Strategic Plan and the School Building Plan.

The Board of Education unanimously approved the Plan on May 19, 2009.
